Evaluation of the Theater Staff Performance Regarding Surgical Hand Scrub at Rania Teaching Hospital

Background: The proper hand scrub is helpful to eliminate contaminations deactivating, and protect patients health care personnel from transmitted diseases. goal of this study was conducted provide demographic data evaluate theatre staff performance regarding surgical at Rania teaching Hospital in the Kurdistan region Iraq, during period 2018 – 2019. Materials Methods: A non-probability purposive sample (surgeon nurse), collection instrument constructed total 19 items. instrument’s content validity determined through a panel 7 experts. reliability using Equivalence (inter-raptor or inter-observer); were collected evaluation technique then organized coded into computer files. Statistical approaches used for analysis SPSS 25.0 version. Results: result revealed that most participants male, them graduated institute nursing, but more than three-quarters not trained. More half had 6 11 years experience room. On other hand, low level scrubs. There significant association between gender job title staff’s p<0.05 except age, number trainings, room p>0.05.
